What has tea got to do with dance?

Hello OACommunity!

Thanks a lot for your feedback over the past couple of days! We’ve really enjoyed reading every bit of it and we promise to make your experience even better; so please keep an eye out!

So what’s in store for today? 🙂

Since we’re running you through some of the events we offer here at OAC, today we thought we would give you a sneak peak into our Tea Dance event. Our monthly event is aimed at creating and providing a unique environment for people of all ages to come together and make new friends in a relaxed environment; they say variety is the spice of life so whatever your musical taste or ability we would love to see you there. The Tea Dance was our very first event at the centre and has since become a regular in the OAC calendar!

Still on the fence? Well here are a few fun facts that might sway you: A couple of weeks ago (April 21), the UK celebrated national tea day! Of course many of us find it impossible to go a day without tea and for good reason. Recent studies have shown that regular tea drinkers are at a lower risk of heart disease! And don’t we all feel better after a good dance, it’s a great way to relieve stress.

As we prep ourselves for the next edition of Tea dance, join us on 20th of May at 4pm, and let’s swing, jive, prance and dance with a tipple of tea and a nibble of cake! And, do share your thoughts with the #OACommunity forum! We love to hear from you!

With love!
